The idea of eternal return is a mysterious one, and Dageraad has often perplexed other brewers with it: to think that every beer recurs as we once experienced it, and that the recurrence itself occurs ad infinitum! What does this mad myth signify?

You may feel that you have tasted this stout before, perhaps in 2010; it was a good bourbon barrel-aged double stout of the American style, roasty with notes of vanilla. And now, having existed, it is bound to recur eternally, weightily reminding us of the ephemeral uniqueness of our own being, lighter than air, our movements as free as they are insignificant.

14.3% abv, 1 x 355mL
